The wait is finally over. A dream has been brought to life in the heart of Dublin’s Docklands. Dream Point, Ireland’s first purpose-built, multi-room immersive ‘world of dreams’, officially opens its doors today, inviting families, friends and fun-seekers of all ages to step inside a spectacular world where imagination leads the way.
Spanning an impressive 21,000 square feet and brought to life with a €3 million investment, the high-spec Dream Point is a one-of-a-kind experience designed to spark creativity, joy and wonder in every guest.
Following years of creative development by Dan and John Gleeson — the Irish brothers who previously brought The Van Gogh Experience, the FRIENDS™ Experience, the LEGO® Bricktionary Experience and more to Dublin — Dream Point makes its global debut today, launching as a major new landmark for the city and a must-visit destination this summer.
Inside the Dream:
The Balloon Room:
Step into a brightly coloured, glowing chamber filled with swirling oversized pink balloons, complete with a walk-around path designed for visitors with sensitivities.
The Projection Room:
Experience the European premiere of an interactive animation wall by acclaimed Taiwanese artists Wei Wen and Damon.
Draw Alive Room:
A fan favourite among the children pre-tested, this room is a superb example of using modern technology to make kids very happy! Children simply draw a picture of one of their favourite animals and submit it into the kid-friendly machine. They are then amazed to see their animal drawing come to life on the gigantic projection wall before them — jumping, running or flying across the screen. For extra fun, the child’s name even appears above their animal as it moves across the scene!
The Inflatable Forest:
Wander through the huge, 10-foot, touch-sensitive inflatables that light up and change colour at every touch, blending art and play.
The Photo Opp Room:
A photo-fun visual playground! Dream Point invites visitors to immerse themselves in installations that create surreal, gravity-defying moments made for the camera, including an always-fun upside-down room. Designed with shareable moments in mind, Dream Point offers countless photo opportunities across every room — a paradise for social media creators.
The Glow Corridor:
Use a torch to create glowing trails of light on the walls, crafting magical and shareable moments. A fan-favourite moment for both kids and adults alike with a love of art or creativity.
The Ball Pit Room:
Dive into Ireland’s largest ball pit, overflowing with 250,000 pearl-toned balls beneath floating clouds. The space is also fitted with ‘lifeguard chairs’ for a surreal poolside vibe.
The Dream Café:
Unwind in a stylish, family-friendly café with artisan coffee and treats, while little ones explore a dedicated soft play zone.
A New Era for Immersive Experiences in Dublin
“This is more than just a new attraction — it’s a whole new category of experience,” said co-founder Dan Gleeson. “We’ve travelled the world to bring the best of immersive exhibitions back to Dublin, and Dream Point is our own dream brought to life. Every room is designed to spark creativity and connection, and we are so proud to open our doors to the public today.”
While Dream Point is designed with children and families in mind, its bold, highly visual features are expected to appeal to young adults, couples and content creators seeking standout experiences. The venue is fully accessible, ensuring that as many guests as possible can enjoy the magic of Dream Point.
Economic Impact
Dream Point is expected to create up to 40 new jobs locally, including creative, technical, hospitality and visitor support roles, providing a welcome boost to the local economy in the Docklands.
