The Ivy Dawson Street is becoming even more floral, as they celebrate their first Bloom in Dublin Town!
Restaurant and bar The Ivy on Dawson Street is celebrating its very first Bloom in Dublin with a beautiful floral installation, terrarium masterclass and limited-edition menu items. Outside their premises, an eye-catching floral display that features a range of colourful blooms such as hydrangea, peonies, roses and dahlias will be on display for guests and passers-by to see. The installation will be on display from Friday, 24th May until Tuesday, 4th June.
Furthermore, the bar team have created two delicious cocktails for Bloom: Like A Red, Red Rose (€10.50) that’s made with Glendalough Rose Gin, Gabriel Boudier Rose Liqueur, cranberry juice, Jeio Prosecco and garnished with a red rose petal; and the Dingle Blooms (€10.50), which incorporates Dingle Gin, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, Fever-Tree elderflower tonic and a garnish of edible flowers.
Plus, for those with a sweet tooth, you can enjoy The Ivy’s limited-edition dessert, The Tulipa (€10.50). A white chocolate mousse, serves with raspberries, meringue and petals, it’s a truly delectable treat for any mealtime.
In addition to the floral display and Bloom specials, The Ivy Dawson Street will also be hosting a summer terrarium workshop in partnership with Appassionata Flowers of Clarendon Street. On Tuesday, 28th May 6.30-8.30pm, this flower arrangement workshop will take place in the restaurant’s private dining room.
Tickets are available at €60 per person, while places are limited, click here to purchase yours. As well as enjoying the workshop led by Appassionata’s Ruth Monahan, guests will be able to enjoy a glass of Champagne and canapés, before taking their terrarium home.
