Talbot Street was a magnet for fun last Saturday, June 4th with families young and old stopping to take part in the on-street fun day, organised by DublinTown and Luas Cross City.

This was the second of FOUR FUN DAY SATURDAYS scheduled to take place on Talbot Street, each week until June 18 from 12pm to 5pm.
The free event was a hit with shoppers coming in to the area who enjoyed the variety of activities while taking in all the great businesses along the street. The impressive FM104 Roadhog had the crowd going with live broadcasts and music to add to the street’s atmosphere.
On Street Free Family activities include: Giant Bungee Run Inflatable; Giant Inflatable Basketball hoops; Giant Chess; Giant Connect 4; Gyroscope Spinning Chair Ride; Face Painting; Balloons; Music; Clowns; FM104 Roadhog American Truck; Coloured Bunting along the street.
The event has been organised by DublinTown and Luas Cross City to remind the public that Talbot St and the surrounding area is very much open for business and accessible for pedestrians during Luas Cross City works currently taking place.
With so many things to do, the entire family can have a fantastic day while making a few pit stops into local businesses to get those essentials whether its, clothes, shoes, homeware or a bite to eat, Talbot Street has it all!
