Whether you know Dublin like the back of your hand or it’s your first time stepping foot in the city, this list is sure to help you plan a fantastic day in Dublin this St. Patrick’s Day.

Every great holiday should start with a great breakfast, and we think these spots are some of the best around.

 

Balfes:

Found on Balfe Street, this New York and Parisian style restaurant serves up a mean breakfast with plenty of gluten free and vegan options if that’s what floats your boat.

Taste Food Company:

Found on South Williams Street, Taste Food Company offers a fantastic full breakfast with bacon, sausages, beans, egg and black pudding, and we couldn’t recommend it enough!

Brother Hubbard:

This café on Capel Street is sure to meet your breakfast needs this St. Patrick’s Day, offering a wide range of coffees and teas along with a plethora of delicious breakfasts to fuel your day of celebrating!

Metro Café:

Found on South Williams Street, Metro offers lots, from breakfast butties to pancakes, Metro is a fantastic spot for this St. Patrick’s Day.

If your getting into the city later or just like a lie in, don’t worry, these lunch spots are certainly ones to dine at!

 

Griolladh:

Found at temple bar, this toastie shop is truly one of the best around, whether you want to dine in and relax or walk around town with your tasty toastie, Griolladh has got you covered.

Cornucopia:

If your looking for a vegan/ vegetarian choice this St. Patrick’s Day, then look no further than Cornucopia on Wicklow Street, from soups and salads to vegan chicken Cesar wraps to even vegan ice cream!

Soup Dragon:

If your still looking for a healthy lunch option this St. Patrick’s day then we would strongly recommend Soup Dragon on Capel Street. They offer many a sandwich, teas, coffees and of course, soups.

Beshoff Restaurant:

This fish and chips shop is located right on O’Connell Street, so if the hunger strikes, you know where to find this awesome eaterie.

Gotham Café:

Burgers galore, steaks, fish, pizzas, salads and options for the kids, Gotham is the perfect place to bring the family after getting the celebrations out. Located on Anne Street.

Elephant and Castle:

Found at Temple Bar, This American style restaurant is a great way to end your St. Patrick’s Day. Burgers, chips, salads, sandwiches, options for the kids & more, Elephant & Castle won’t leave you disappointed.

Eddie Rocket’s:

Eddie Rocket’s is of course another American style diner, but it truly is amazing after a long day. easy, quick and relatively affordable, not to mention it’s an option the kids won’t be complaining about. There are locations all around the city centre too! so there shouldn’t be a problem finding one wherever you end up.

Carluccio’s:

Carluccio’s is an Italian restaurant found on Dawson Street. They have something on the menu for everyone, Vegan options, vegetarian options, kids menus and the Italian classics such as lasagne, carbonara, pizza and more. So make sure you check out Carluccio’s if your on Dawson Street this St. Patrick’s Day

The Hairy Lemon:

The Dame Tavern:

Another classic Dublin bar. Your sure to find good booze and better company at this Dame Street staple.

The Boars Head:

Once again, an Irish pub through and through. Guiness and stew? doesn’t get much more festive than that! if you happen to be on Capel Street make sure to check out this gastropub.

The Blind Pig Speakeasy:

The Blind Pig is a 1920’s themed speakeasy named after the police who would turn a blind eye to illegal liquor rooms. This speakeasy’s cocktails are sure to blow you away. Which to me seems like the perfect St. Patrick’s Day celebration!

Out a little late and looking for food? No worries, here’ our suggestions

Bambino:

Bambino is a New York style pizzaria that can be found on Stephens street. from Sunday to Thursday they’re open from 12 p.m.-12 a.m. and on Friday and Saturday they’re open from 12 a.m.-2 a.m. Perfect for those late nights.

WOWBURGER:

WOWBURGER on Wicklow Street is another excellent choice for food on those late nights in town. They have burgers with a choice selection of toppings, they also offer a student meal! They’re open from 12 p.m.-11 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday and from 12 a.m.-12 p.m.
