Milano Launches Autumn Menu Featuring Dun Laoghaire Pizzaiolo’s brand new creation

Local Pizzaiolo Bruno Rech has put Dun Laoghaire on the culinary map by winning iconic pizzeria brand, Milano’s, first Pizza Championships.  Now, his award-winning pizza, aptly named the ‘Bruno,’ is taking pride of place on the Milano’s new Autumn menu which launches today.

Bruno, a Senior Pizzaiolo at Milano’s Dun Laoghaire restaurant, earned the prestigious title with his expertly crafted pizza, featuring creamy blue cheese, red onion chutney, tomato and mozzarella, all topped with fresh rocket, Parma ham and finished off with Gran Milano cheese.

Inspired by cherished family moments, Bruno’s pizza reflects his dedication to quality ingredients and passion for flavours that resonate personally, and the pizza captures the warmth and joy of shared meals with loved ones that he experienced growing up.

Bruno said, “I wanted to craft a pizza that not only tastes incredible but also evokes a sense of togetherness. Great food has the power to bring people closer, and I hope this pizza helps bring others together to create more memorable moments at Milano.”

In addition to Bruno’s pizza, Milano’s autumn menu introduces a variety of seasonal dishes, and from innovative starters which bring together iconic menu items for the first time to indulgent desserts, and an exciting new gluten free offering, there’s something for everyone.

The innovations don’t stop there: with a commitment to making its menu as inclusive as possible, Milano will be welcoming a gluten free Romana base to its menu – marking the first time the brand’s famous crispy Romana Is available in a gluten free version.
