This Easter weekend #DublinTown is certainly the place to bring the family. If all the activities of Easter Sunday and Easter Monday were not enough we just learned that the Defence Forces are docking two of the Naval Service’s battleships, the LE Samuel Beckett and LE Ciara on the Liffey where the public can board them for free tours. A guaranteed great day out for all of the family.
In celebration with Ireland 2016 the LE Samuel Beckett and LE Ciara will be docked at Sir John Rogerson’s Quay on Sunday and Monday.
You can board the ships for a free tour between 10.00am and 12.30pm and then between 2.00pm and 6.00pm. It’s a great day out in the heart of Dublin. You don’t just get to see these colossal ships on the banks of the Liffey but you get to board them and have a free tour. A brilliant experience!
