Iconic Coppinger Restaurant Reopens For Business

COPPINGER PROMISES TO DELIVER A SENSATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR DUBLIN DINERS

The Bereen Brothers Group is delighted to announce the return of one of Dublin’s most iconic restaurants, ‘Coppinger.’ The beloved hot-spot promises to provide the unparalleled bistro experience that Dubliners fondly remember from the highly successful years of ‘Coppinger Row.’ Coppinger is returning to the same location with a new face, following 2.5 years of closure due to development works on the premises.

Founded by brothers Marc and Conor Bereen, this exciting announcement makes Coppinger the fourth restaurant in the Bereen Group. Coppinger joins a stellar group of sister-restaurants: Charlotte Quay; Row Wines, located next door to Coppinger and Orwell Road in Rathgar. Each venue provides a unique experience for the diner, with an emphasis on high-quality and fresh ingredients creating memorable and exciting menus.

Diners at Coppinger will enjoy an exceptional experience in the heart of Dublin city centre, with exquisite cocktails and stand-out plates, prepared under the expert leadership of Executive Chef, Daniel Hannigan. The Bereen brothers pride themselves on the careful attention to detail and warm, welcoming atmosphere at each of their venues and Coppinger will be no exception.

The news of Coppinger’s return will be warmly welcomed by Dublin’s diners, following an outpouring of love and nostalgia across social media when the untimely closure of Coppinger Row was announced in December 2021.

On the return of Coppinger in its new form, Marc says, “It’s been quite a journey over the last few years, and we’re delighted to finally be able to open the doors of Coppinger again, in the same location as our first baby, Coppinger Row. Things have moved on since Coppinger Row first opened in 2009, so while we have taken great care to honour the original restaurant, the new incarnation of Coppinger is rooted firmly in 2024. Our guests can expect a few old favourites, nestled among a fresh and exciting new menu, under the direction of our head chef Daniel Hannigan.”

Undertaking the architectural design, Conor is the driving force behind the distinct look and feel of each location in the Bereen Brother Group, and has taken the Coppinger 2.0 in a fresh new direction, stating “We take huge pride in creating warm and inviting spaces that compliment each unique location in our portfolio. We manage all design in house, and over the last few months have painstakingly renovated Coppinger, updating the layout and aesthetic in line with our new vision. This was an incredible opportunity for us to reimagine a space we knew intimately, taking everything we knew and loved about the original restaurant, and creating a contemporary new restaurant we can’t wait to welcome people to.”

Coppinger is set to open its doors on July 26th, with bookings open from July 12th.
