Founded in 2008, Dublin Lunar New Year is a programme of the City Arts Office, part of the Culture, Community & Recreation Department of Dublin City Council. Dublin Lunar New Year is made possible by the support of the Lord Mayor of Dublin and the members of Dublin City Council.
Dublin Lunar New Year strives to broaden and grow its engagement with all communities that celebrate the Lunar New Year which include China, Vietnam, South Korea, North Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Mongolia, Indonesia, and Brunei. The festival is looking forward to building and diversifying its programming content for many years to come.
Inspired by the playfulness and elegance of the rabbit, this year’s programme consists of talks, performances, visual arts, workshops, music and family friendly events taking place between 21 and 29 January 2023.
