When you’re your own boss or have the freedom of being a freelancer, the whole of town can be your office. And within our wonderful districts are many great spots where you can avail of good Wifi, good coffee and tea, and good food too – and they won’t kick you out!
Vice Coffee – Mostly quiet during the day, Vice Coffee within WigWam is great for being your productive self. Their many tables and booths will allow you to work in peace, while their background music and soft chitter-chatter will remind you that you’re still in town.
The Woollen Mills – For early birds who work during breakfast hours, The Woollen Mills is great for cracking on with it. Serving tasty treats, strong coffee and free Wi-Fi, plus they also have outdoor seating too.
Insomnia Coffee – One of the bigger Insomnia Coffee shops, this café at Jervis Street Luas Station has comfortable seats aplenty, free Wi-Fi and the best hot chocolate in town!
The Church – It would be rare not to find a free seat at which to perch, with The Church’s vast space and variety of seating. It’s a great spot in the centre of town that’s a stone’s throw from the busy shopping streets of Mary Street and Henry Street.
Kaph Café – The upstairs area of Kaph has good seating with great light, and free Wi-Fi to cater to all those creative minds. Homemade baked goods downstairs, their coffee is pretty renowned in these parts of town too!
Dakota – Located on South William Street, Dakota is a brilliant spot during the day that serves coffee, tea and lunch too, with free Wi-Fi throughout, spacious seating and ample sockets to plug into. Their tables allow for great workspace, while you can also hold casual meetings here if needs be. Don’t forget Happy Hour when you’re all done!
KC Peaches – On the corner of the Dame Street-George’s Street junction, KC Peaches is an ideal little spot to get your freelancing brain buzzing. The upstairs seated area features sockets and free Wi-Fi, and if you manage a window-seat you’ll never know what might inspire you.
Bewley’s – Ever since it reopened, the iconic Bewley’s has been a hub for many. The upstairs seated areas are best for working away, where you’ll have natural light, free Wi-Fi, excellent tea and coffee, and the oh-so-good aromas of freshly baked cakes and pastries.
House Dublin – Another great spot to get all your important work done, House Dublin on Leeson Street is a short walk away from Grafton Street, but is worth the visit due to its ample space, free Wi-Fi that reaches all corners of the venue, pretty tea & coffee sets and tasty menu. Their outdoor garden and terrace are perfect for working under natural light too.
