Café en Seine have firmly taken the title of best refurbishment of a bar….ever. They reopened their doors after an extensive transformation just before Christmas last year and the iconic Dawson Street bar is now one of the busiest spots around town. They have a restaurant area, several stunning bars and the real winner – an impressive indoor Street Garden that transports you to the streets of France.

Lemon and Duke
Ideally situated in the Royal Hibernian Way – just between Dawson Street and Grafton Street – Lemon & Duke is a great choice for a seasonal ‘do. They’ve already released their Christmas Menu options and they’re pretty terrific. There are no cover charges or booking fees, so you won’t be hit with extra hidden costs. You can view their options here (we’re leaning towards Option A for €14.95 because….ribs). Each food option is followed by a mini mince pie and a mini chocolate fondant.

A regular Saturday night haunt of any weekend town-goer, NoLIta is two floors of pure fun. The New York style bar offers authentic Italian food, delicious drinks and ‘good times’. They’re already inviting to help you ring in the jolly good times and have their Christmas offer advertised on their website. (Take a look at their mouth-watering sample Christmas menu here). You’ll be leaving feeling as if you’ve provided your guests with one of the best culinary experiences Dublin can offer.
