Join a free tour with Museum guides to discover the chills, ills, and kills in Collins Barracks’ 300-year long history.
Find out about the trials and tribulations of life as a soldier living in the Barracks from the 1700s until the late 1900s, with a focus on (ill) health, as well as the transition from one of Europe’s oldest occupied Barracks into one of Ireland’s National Museums.

Join Dacre Stoker, internationally-acclaimed author and great grandnephew of Bram Stoker, the literary maestro behind the timeless classic, Dracula. At this interactive literary workshop, you’ll unlock the secrets of Dracula’s creation, dissecting rare, replica papers borrowed from esteemed libraries and archives worldwide.
This rare opportunity to explore key documents has been curated to offer fascinating insights into Stoker’s research and his creative mind. By following the trail of clues, you’ll gain insights into the intricate connections between the papers, exposing the secrets of how Dracula came to life on the pages of this iconic novel.

Experience the twisted world of Monsieur Pompier’s Travelling Freakshow, the freakiest cabaret act around! This mind-bending cabaret lifts the veil onto a surreal world packed with bizarre ballads and maniacal music about inside-out cats, hedgehog swallowers and devious doctors.
Oddballs and outcasts, misfits and ne’er do wells will delight in Monsieur Pompier’s delicious darkness, joined by a full band performing chaotic and increasingly frenzied numbers which will leave you wondering if you’re in the Sugar Club or in the middle of a fever dream.
