Tapas is a food trend that seems to be taking over Dublin. To make sure you’re not missing out we have decided to compile a list of the top Tapas restaurants in Dublin Town that must be visited by lovers of Spanish cuisine
1. Market Bar
Market Bar is known for its buzzing atmosphere and delicious tapas menu. Located on Fade Street, Market Bar always attracts a crowd whether it be work nights out or a family dinner. There is something on the menu for everyone including meat options, seafood and a range of salads. Market Bar run an early bird menu 3pm-7pm Monday to Friday for €15.
2. Salamanca
Salamanca, situated on St. Andrews Street has a wide range of high quality tapas and Spanish wines. Salamanca have an early bird menu (€16.95) and set group menus making it an ideal location for parties and larger groups. They also run various lunch deals during the week and at the weekend. Their menu is extensive catering for all taste palettes.
3. The Port House
The Port House is a traditional Spanish tapas bar. They offer a variety of Basque Pintxos and Tapas as well as an extensive list of fine wines, sherries and of course, ports! The Port House is open 11AM- Late Sunday – Monday. The Port House is ideal for lunch as they have a special set lunch menu Monday-Thursday for €10.
4. Fade Street Social
Owned by Dylan McGrath, Fade Street Social has an excellent reputation for both high quality food and great service. Their casual tapas bar is a great place to dine with friends or grab food on the go. Their extensive menu highlights certain dishes recommended for kids making it a great family spot. Fade Street Social is also known for their delicious cocktails.
