Inspired by their apothecary roots, Kiehl’s combines naturally-derived skincare ingredients and science to create our formulas.
The precursor to the original Kiehl Pharmacy, Brunswick Apotheke, began serving patrons in the East Village neighbourhood back in 1851, then apprentice John Kiehl purchased the Brunswick Apotheke and renamed the establishment Kiehl Pharmacy in 1894. Over the next few decades, they created many original and unique skincare products, for both men and women, as well as beauty products.
Today, their Kiehl’s store on Wicklow Street is home to all of these products and more, while their main focus is still skincare. Bestsellers include Ultra Facial Cream, Midnight Recovery Concentrate, Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner, Facial Fuel and Glow Formula Skin Hydrator, all of which are available in-store.
There are also excellent products for hair care, men’s grooming, body scrubs and fragrances. And if you’re looking for the ideal gift to give, Kiehl’s has an array of gift boxes and selections, from ‘Bun in the Oven’ sets to travel sets for those on-the-go.
Kiehl’s also promotes recycling, and encourages you to return your empty Kiehl’s product packaging, or shop with your reusable bag. In return you’ll get one stamp on your Loyalty Card. 10 stamps on your card and you receive a complimentary travel size product.
